“…we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” - Psalm 78:4

PURPOSE: Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) exists to evangelize boys and girls with the Good News of Jesus Christ, to disciple them in the Word of God, and to establish them in the local church.  The Good News of Jesus Christ is shared with elementary age children at Mitchell Road Elementary and in the Greenville/Piedmont district through “Good News Club.”

WHO DOES IT REACH: Our goal is to reach about 100 children from Mitchell Road Elementary School each academic year.

WHAT IS DONE: Good News Club is a free and exciting fun-filled hour held once a week after school.  The club includes dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring mission stories, meaningful songs and life-changing Scripture memorization for children in K5 through 5th grade.

WHO IS NEEDED: We need volunteers who will help just talk to the children and listen to them say their memory verses. We can use volunteers to help with the power point presentation. Volunteers can be from middle school through senior adults. It is important that we have enough volunteers to have 3 adults in each classroom.  Finally, volunteers that can serve as prayer warriors to pray for the workers and children that attend.

WHERE/WHEN: Tuesdays from 2pm – 4pm.  Volunteers meet at Mitchell Road’s Main Church Building at 1:30pm to go over the material for the day and to pray for the ministry.
